Call to Order:
The
meeting was called to order by President Dennis Martin at
9:32 AM.
Present:
Vice President Bob McCauley, InterimTreasurer Debra
Quinnell, Secretary Steven Durupt, Interim Board Member Jill
Jones, George DeBruyn, Suzanne Rehder.
Absent
Board Members:
Dick Hanel, Linda Hanel.
Guests:
Community Center Caretaker Andrew Watson,. John Austin, Dick
Bennett, Trish Warner.

New mop heads and miscellaneous supplies to be
purchased by Andrew Watson and
will be reimbursed when receipts submitted.
Debra Quinnell to research Treasurer files
so as to determine source of past janitorial supply
acquisitions.
Wick-type air fresheners
to be discontinued and aerosol-type spray
to be used as air freshener in restrooms.

Board vacancies in 2012 need to be included in the next
newsletter.
Joyce Minty passed away recently and Dick Bennett
volunteered to
conduct
personal interview of Joyce Minty’s daughters for
obituary-type article in next Newsletter.
Old Business:

Noted reminder for take down of Christmas Tree on
January 5, 2012.

Cracked window pane near coffee machine noted and will
be repaired during
planned
new window installation via reply from Milgard Company.

restroom ventilation.

New Business:

Coffee Machine switch has been replaced and reservoir
over-flow tube resealed.
New power cord plug to be replaced.

Community Garage Sale scheduled for May 5th
versus April 30th .
Mail-in applications for table space rentals in
next newsletter suggested over concerns of Garage Sale
vendors’ lack of interest last year.

McCauley to confer with Tom Carey on posting Monthly
Financial Report to be posted
with
Monthly Board Meeting Minutes on the Gardiner Community
Website.
Decision on posting Financial Report to the website if at
all is pending and will be addressed at next Board Meeting.
- In
addition to the 5-minute rule during the pre-agenda
Board Meeting, a 3-minute public comment for non-agenda
business after the Board Meeting to commence at next
Board Meeting.
Any public comments will be noted.
