Gerald Lee Major

 Mr. Gerald Lee Major, 79, died November 29, 2012, at his residence in Lacey, Washington, after a battle with cancer.

He is survived by his four children, two on the East Coast and two in Sequim; and his wife, Murrie Cannon Major, who was beside him when he passed.

He is also survived by his stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was the grandson of Hayes Evans Sr. and Susie Allene Duncan, both "Grand Pioneers" of Sequim.
