Charles “Mike” West
September 22, 1935 – December 27, 2019

Charles “Mike” West passed away peacefully at his home in Gardiner, with family by his side.
Mike is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Sue West; his three children, Kim Henson of Snohomish, son, Terry West of Cle Elum, and Mike West of Mukilteo, and their spouses and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Sue and Mike started life together in Seattle, but spent many years raising their children, in Bothell, and started his own excavation business in 1975.

After a brief stint in Cle Elum, they moved to Gardiner and built their dream home, in 1991, overlooking Discovery Bay. He continued operating his excavation business until he sold it, about 2012, but continued operating equipment, in Sequim and Gardiner, until just three months before his passing.

​He was loved by many in the community. He enjoyed his coffee club and poker party friends and had many. He was an amazing man, husband and father
