Virginia Mae Mahoney-LaJambe, 49, of Sequim passed away May 26, 2017..
She was born to Paul and Iona Mahoney in Wasilla, Alaska. Age 12, she moved to Dawson City, Yukon, Canada. Growing up, she later worked mining camps, restaurants, dealing cards and painting , to name a few.

Virginia had three sons: Frank, Anthony and Peter. In 2001, Virginia, husband Winston and sons moved to Gardiner. She painted many houses around the area, including the Troll Haven Castle. Virginia’s tenacity, energetic sprint and expressive personality always left an imprint on the lives of anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. Virginia was an avid gardener and loved meeting people.

Virginia is survived by her husband Winston, and three sons.
